As stated in our Resident Handbook, Pelican Landing goes to great lengths to preserve, protect and enhance the natural environment. Throughout the community, you will see the evidence of this commitment. Lush cypress hammocks, protected wildlife and preserved wetland area are an integral part of the community's design. With that, there is an abundance of native animals. As a rule, these animals are not aggressive. However, if you see any unusual or aggressive animal activities, contact the Privacy Office at (239) 947-8563 or submit your request online.

Pelican Landing has been able to simplify the alligator removal process by obtaining an THA (Target Harvesting Area) permit from the Florida Fish & Game. Please contact the Privacy Office directly at (239) 947-8563 or complete our online request instead of calling the alligator hotline. Once Privacy receives the information, they will verify the concern and contact the trapper directly for removal if necessary.
