Pelican Landing Bird Club

The Pelican Landing Birdwatching Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30am at the south end of the Community Center parking lot. Meetings are field trips to a variety of habitats in the area. Carpools are arranged at the Community Center on the day of the field trip so participants should be prepared to drive or contribute toward gasoline. Participants should bring a sack lunch, binoculars, field guides, insect repellent, and shoes and clothing suitable for each habitat. Most trips will end around 2:00PM. Comprehensive information concerning directions, entrance fees, and logistics for each field trip is usually broadcast to club members by email prior to the trip, so interested residents should register their email addresses and telephone numbers with Pat Gladstone, the club’s organizer. Pat can be reached at (239) 992-6968 or Gcat2bird@aol.com. There are no dues for this resident club...just enthusiasm and curiosity about Florida's resident and migratory birds.
